Derek A. Castello focuses his practice in the areas of bankruptcy law, mortgage default servicing, and landlord-tenant law. Derek represents several national loan servicers on their real property legal issues including defense of secured claims in U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, defending lenders in commercial litigation, and prosecuting post-foreclosure evictions.  

He is a member of the Vermont Bar Association and is an active member of their bankruptcy chapter.  He has been active with the Bankruptcy chapter of the Boston Bar Association and was a member of the Creditor’s/Debtor’s Rights Committee for the Rhode Island Bar Association.  Derek serves as President of the Cable Advisory Committee for the Town of North Attleboro.   

Derek attended Bryant University before he graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law with his juris doctor. Derek is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
