David A. Shaw is of counsel with Demerle Hoeger, representing lenders and loan servicers throughout southern New England. David has represented mortgage servicers since 2001 and has practiced civil litigation more generally since 1986.
A native of New Jersey, David received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont and then graduated cum laude from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1985. While in law school, David worked as an Associate Editor of the Connecticut Law Review. He also received the Stephenson Prize and AmJur Book Award in Civil Procedure.
Following law school, and prior to entering private practice, David completed a one-year clerkship with the Honorable Arthur H. Latimer, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
